Description
Our industry has often but indoor air quality at odds with energy efficiency, and for good reason - the balancing act can be difficult. Technology is helping. At Tower, COVID required an all hands on deck approach where we created layers of protection to help ensure we were providing a safe indoor environment for our occupants. With the benefit of hindsight, join us to hear how changes like upgrades to MERV 15 filters and UV lights in air handlers impacted energy consumption.
Tower was the first landlord in the US to use two new technologies - Healthe & Poppy as part of our healthy building approach. We will also discuss how tenants and occupants have responded to this layered approach, and how we're using these real time indoor air and energy monitoring tools to help inform operations.
